Introduces Linda Allen a small town, gifted vocalist who leaves home against her parents will with her boyfriend, James Blu a slick talking con-artist, to pursue her singing career. Years after a successful career, she returns home broke, broken and on the verge of a divorce. Her sister Brenda and her not so favorite Aunt Bessie are her saving grace. They guide her on her path to redemption as she struggles to keep it all together. As her failing health consumes her, Linda forces helrself to cope through her mounting debt amongst other issues; like her husband scheming and robbing her blind. After turning her back on her family, can she finally forgive herself? What else will be thrown her way? What are her priorities?
